Upgrade
I am upgrading to Snow Leopard, aka Mac OS 10.6.3... So I can update to iTunes 10, and therefore update my iPhone to the latest software. Which will probably require me to stay up all night again trying 10 times over to download a huge update file that doesn't agree with my less-than-high-speed satellite internet service. Sigh.
When that's done I shall post a gorgeous set of 20 Moab pics, which is the absolute fewest I could weed that trip down to. Assuming my internet still works. Anyway, wish me luck...

Thanks, WC! It took about 12 hours to do all of it, but it worked, and I'm supremely grateful that those lovely people at Adobe made sure my Creative Suite 3 - yes I know, that needs an upgrade too - does work on Snow Leopard.
I haven't finished reading up on the changes since familiar old Tiger, but all in all it hasn't been much of a hassle. Not compared to updating my frickin' iPhone!
Grr. Do you know the default setting with this upgrade is Bluetooth is off? WTF? I tried to make a call in my car, and over and over it kept telling me, no phone available. I got home and sat in the driveway, so close to just bashing the mirror (where the UConnect feature is) with my damn phone.
But then I figured out where the Bluetooth setting was and switched it on, and once I could remember my pairing password (!) it actually worked again. But on the phone itself I lost half my contacts, had to reload all my music and photos... What a pain in the butt. And yet I'm jealous 'cause my boss has the newest one.
Anyway, the upgrades are done and we'll see if the performance is any better as I prep photos for posts. Soon.
